What It Is

Paint Correction Explained
Paint correction is a professional machine-polishing process that refines your vehicle’s clear coat. It removes imperfections safely (within clear coat limits) to restore depth, gloss, and crisp reflections.

Unlike quick waxes or “shine boosters,” correction is about removal — not hiding.

What We Can Fix
  • Swirl marks from automatic washes and improper washing
  • Light to moderate scratches and general marring
  • Oxidation / fading from UV exposure
  • Water spot etching and surface haze
  • Dullness that makes paint look “gray” or flat

If a scratch catches a fingernail, it may not fully remove — we’ll set expectations before we start.

Why Your Paint Gets This Way
  • Automatic car washes and harsh brushes
  • Dirty towels, mitts, or quick wipe-downs
  • Dry wiping dust/pollen (micro-marring)
  • Sun exposure and neglected protection
  • Road film and contamination bonding to paint

What You’ll Notice

The “wow” is real — and it’s not just shine. It’s clarity.

More Gloss

Sharper reflections and a brighter finish.

Deeper Color

Less haze, more depth — especially on dark paint.

Smoother Feel

Cleaner, slicker paint that looks refined up close.

Premium Clarity

Swirls reduced, finish restored, light hits clean.

Want the results to last? Seal the finish after correction.

Protect the Perfected Paint

Paint correction reveals the finish — protection keeps it that way. After polishing, we strongly recommend sealing the paint so swirls and oxidation don’t return quickly.

Ceramic = multi-year durability · Sealant = seasonal protection

Paint Correction FAQs

How long does paint correction take?
It depends on your paint condition and the level of correction needed. We’ll give you a clear time estimate after a quick inspection.
Will all scratches disappear?
Not always. Deep scratches that catch a fingernail may not fully remove without compromising clear coat. Our focus is safe, meaningful improvement — and we’ll be honest about what’s achievable.
Do you come to me?
Yes — we’re mobile. We can typically perform correction at your home or workplace with appropriate space and conditions.
Do I need ceramic coating afterward?
Not required, but strongly recommended. Corrected paint is fresh and vulnerable — protection is how you keep the results. If you’re not ready for ceramic, a quality sealant is still a smart next step.
